The  Judge as he was commonly known was an avid golfer.  He and his wife Marie were two of the original founders of St. Alban’s Anglican Cathedral.  Marie still volunteers her time and efforts at the church and usually attends the 8:00am service.  Judge Wieland was a devout Christian and rarely ever missed a church service.  He was always at church very early on Sunday mornings to start the coffee and open the buildings.  He was very instrumental in the growth of the church providing many years of sound legal advice and guidance to the leadership of the church, especially to Bishop Grundorf.  The  Judge and the
